This afternoon we went to a volunteer center for the elderly. A lady we met last summer works there and invited us to come. When we arrived there were about 12 babushkas there making bead necklaces and other crafts. They loved all over Caleb (I donæt think he loved it quite as much as they did!). The center is funded entirely by private contributions. To help cover expeneses they rent out two rooms to a hairdresser, and an individual who has a massage bed and a light room (for those who need extra light because of the darkness). The director oversees the activities for these eldely people who desperately need companionship as well as for those who are mentally or physically handicapped.
We did not get a chance to share with them about Christ, but we were invited to come back and do a special program with them, maybe crafts, singing, who knows.
Please pray for the elderly people of Murmansk. They need the love and hope that can only be found in Jesus. Pray for opportunities to come and minister to them and share the gospel. Pray for those who have a heart for older people to be willing to come and minister.
Tomorrow we will worship at the local Baptist church. Please pray that this congregation would get excited about evangelism. We have a good relationship with them, but at this point they do not embrace our efforts of church planting. Pray for harmony in our relations.
I am thankful for your prayers. I am also thankful for the opportunity to be here in Murmansk. Please continue to pray for the Lord to lead me to those who need to hear the gospel, and to a man of peace who wants to see the kingdom expanded in Murmansk.

It's football conference championship Saturday here in the USA but you guys are playing the most important game of all. You are competing with the evil one for the souls of men, women, boys and girls. What an incredible opportunity! What an incredible responsibility! Our prayers are with you guys for safety, boldness, open hearts, shared vision for the Kingdom's work and your family.
