What a great Lords Day!

Wow! We had a great morning! We went to worship at the Baptist church this morning, and had the great surprise to see the men from the group we met with on Friday who are from the Kola Church. Their church could not meet today because they rent a building from the city, and the building was being used for a voting precinct. It was great to see them there, because there is usually not much interaction between the two churches (very different worship styles). While we did not understand much of the worship, they celebrated communion today. What a blessing to celebrate communion with our fellow brothers and sisters.

Afterword, the group from the Kola church came over to our hotel and we sat in the lobby and they asked questions about the Bible, security of the believer, works versus faith, speaking in tongues.... It was great! As I mentioned in an earlier post these are fairly new believers who have been rescued from drug addiction. Then we went together to share a pizza and fellowship. They expressed a lot of interest in the information I shared with them about Community Bible Study.

What a great God we serve! He is Lord of everything and everybody. I praise Him for how we are truly one body regardless of who we are or where we came from.
